Nominations Open for Conservation Teacher of the Year Award!

Are you or a teacher you know building a soil and water conservation ethic among the students in your classroom? Nominate yourself or a colleague for Iowa’s Conservation Teacher of the Year Award!

Elizebeth Logsdon of Centerville Community School District

The Iowa Soil Conservation Award Program (ISCAP) Conservation Teacher of the Year Award recognizes teachers that are instilling a soil and water conservation ethic in their students.

For more than 40 years, two Iowa teachers have been awarded this special honor annually. The Division 1 award goes to educators working with K-8 students, and the Division 2 award to educators serving grades 9-12. Winners will receive a one-year membership to ICEC!

Nominations are due by June 1st. Nomination forms and past winners can be found on the Conservation Districts of Iowa website.
