ICEC was awarded a Resource Enhancement and Protection Conservation Education Program (REAP CEP) grant in June to support a new project entitled “Charting a Course for the Future of Conservation Education in Iowa: A Needs Assessment and Action Plan.” The assessment will inform an action plan to build capacity for conservation and environmental education (EE) across our state.
An important component of this project is a survey for teachers, non-formal educators, administrators, and other professionals in the education and environmental fields that will help us determine what is currently happening in EE across Iowa and what support is needed to strengthen EE in the future.
If you are an education or conservation professional in Iowa, please take a few minutes to complete this survey to help us determine where EE is happening and what the challenges are. The survey consists of 10-13 questions and is completely anonymous. As a token of appreciation for your time and effort, participants may enter a drawing for one of five $100 Visa gift cards after completion of the survey.
We also ask that you share the survey widely – please share with your colleagues and network. Thank you in advance for your help with this important project!
And remember to save the date for the Iowa Conservation Education Summit!
