For 2021, ICEC’s annual Winter Workshop will be held virtually and will focus on issues of equity, inclusion, and access for all in environmental education. A later announcement will have full details on the panel discussions, conversations, webinars, and self-guided modules that will make up a series of events held over early winter. Keynote Presentation (early evening): Dr. Carolyn Finney
Carolyn Finney is a storyteller, author, and a cultural geographer. The aim of her work is to develop greater cultural competency within environmental organizations and institutions, challenge media outlets on their representation of difference, and increase awareness of how privilege shapes who gets to speak to environmental issues and determine policy and action.
