The call for nominations for ICEC ExCom is now open!
ICEC is looking for individuals interested in joining the leadership of ICEC. ExCom is a volunteer board of directors working together with members and partners to provide opportunities for Iowa’s conservation and environmental educators to learn, build relationships, and creatively collaborate. Nominees must be members of ICEC (not complimentary members).
Current ExCom elected and ex-officio members include a classroom teacher, a science consultant, naturalists and non-formal educators, and agency representatives.

The Nomination Form (link to Word document) needs to be submitted to exec@iowaee.org by 5:00 p.m. on 22 October 2021.
From ExCom member, Tiffany Morgan: “I had been attending ICEC hosted events and conferences for years and had always found great value in them as a way to learn from and connect with colleagues from around Iowa. When there were openings to serve on the ICEC board of directors, I felt that running and the possibility of serving the organization and members would allow me to give back to the organization and community. Since I began serving on the board in 2020 I’ve been able to grow in my own knowledge of environmental education, serve on national working groups, and connect with an even wider community of environmental educators. I’d encourage anyone who has found ICEC to be a valuable resource and community to consider running to serve on the board!”
