The ExCom currently contracts with an individual to serve as in an administrative capacity for the organization. The Project Coordinator currently assists with WILD training and the support resources, completing grant projects, and assisting ExCom with it’s duties and functions.
Linette Bernard is the ICEC Project Coordinator. Linette has helped to write and implement Iowa Resource Enhancement and Protection – Conservation Education Program grants. She has also helped plan state-wide and regional workshops while as a naturalist and as an extension educator. She has experience working with board members and board chairs, a fiscal agent, community service providers, and funders while working with a multi-county community assessment, planning, service development, and funds distribution organization.
Linette has a B.A. in outdoor recreation and a M.A. in Youth and Human Services Agency Administration. She has been working in the fields of environmental education, fundraising, youth development, non-profit management, and program quality-assurance.
