Growing Up WILD – Reconnecting Children with Nature
This workshop leads you out the door and provides hands on activities and resource materials to help you build on a child’s sense of wonder. Early learning activities use age-appropriate practices and concepts with a focus on math, science, language, literacy, healthy living, play, and creativity. Participants should dress comfortably for light physical activity.
Training Fee: $15; This program is sponsored by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Region 3 County offices for reduced registration cost.
Target Audience: Open to all Early Childhood Educators working with children age 3-7.
Receive 4 clock hours credit for child care license renewal approved by the the Iowa Department of Human Services.
