Prairie Rivers of Iowa Field Day

Prairie Rivers of Iowa will be having a field day on Saturday, September 7th and would love for you and the Iowa Association of Naturalists to join us.
This field day will be about the benefits that native prairies and wetlands have in urban areas. This event will take place at Moore Memorial Park in Ames from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. We will be taking tours of the large prairie and wetland restorations at Moore Park, while learning about the ecosystem services they provide to local citizens. We will also spend some time searching for the endangered Rusty-Patched Bumblebee, which has been historically present in the area.
