Project WILD & Aquatic WILD

June 8-9, 2023 at Jester Park Nature Center, Granger, Iowa
Participants will explore the national award-winning Projects WILD and Aquatic WILD activity guides. All curriculum materials are backed by sound educational practices and theory, and represent the work of many professionals within the fields of education and natural resource management from across the country. Materials are aligned with NGSS and other Common Core standards.
The registration fee includes the credit cost selected plus $75 to cover lunch both days, curriculum guides [Aquatic WILD, Project WILD] and other field investigation resources and supplies for the class. Guide cost subsidized by Iowa Project WILD.
We will be outdoors for much of the workshop exploring natural areas (prairie, forest, lake) and conducting field investigations. Wear appropriate clothing and shoes (no flip flops). Participants should also bring a day pack, water bottle, insect repellent, sunscreen and hat/sunglasses. Activities will be mildly strenuous.
