EARTHSCI 6233 Workshop: Iowa’s Emerging Water Quality Issues: Contamination to Recreation
Expand your science teaching skills this summer as you gain knowledge in the origins, pathways, and mitigation of lead and other contaminants in Iowa’s water resources, explore and apply water quality and climate data, discover the interrelationships between groundwater and watershed science, and learn to use water science to interpret the future of water in Iowa.
- 3 units of graduate credit
- Five online sessions during March and April 2024 with an in-person field-based water workshop, June 10-13, 2024 on campus at the University of Northern Iowa
- Tuition is covered by a Department of Education grant! Course is limited to 12 teachers.
