Linn County Conservation is hosting a Wilderness First Responder Course at Wickiup Hill Learning Center from January 27 – February 4, 2025. Please register on My County Parks to hold your spot while you arrange for the payment. Full registration payment will be due by Monday, December 16 by 4 p.m.

The course will be offered by Nationally Recognized instructor Tom Burroughs. He and his staff through Ozark Safety & Rescue Educators are amazing, and it should be an excellent course for those wishing to advance beyond Wilderness First Aid. Expect cutting edge information and excellence in delivery from this team.

The course costs $765 and the certification through Sierra Rescue is good for three years. Click here for additional information. The fee does not include lodging or food. Wickiup Hill has available is a full kitchen and refrigerator and a table for a catch all snack sharing.

There are slots for 16 participants. This course is expected to fill.  Do not delay signing up if you have an interest in the course.
